God has blessed all of us with a gift! We have an 80 year old volunteer who makes these beautiful baby blankets for families in crisis who have babies in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. New books helping families in crisis!
Many people don't realize, but books are such a precious commodity in the hospital as they must be NEW books for the children to receive them, for health reasons. (Sharing is not caring when it comes to germ control!) Thank you Usborne Books and More for donating such beautiful new books for kids in the hospitals! We are so excited to begin passing them out to both kids undergoing treatment as well as their siblings who are visiting. - more

New Board Members Join the Team!
My heart is filled with joy as I write this. <3 Here are our 3 (COUNT THEM 3) AWESOME new 2018 DTM Board members! God has really answered our prayers and rounded out our team with incredible talent, wisdom, and dedication. We feel incredibly lucky to have Brad Lagle, Jennifer Huggins, and Brian Androsian on the team fighting hard for families in crisis. Fun fact------ we are now high-fiving around the Board Meeting table at each meeting with every accomplishment! :) So blessed to have a team that both works hard AND can laugh and enjoy mission work together. more
Food Pantry growth for families in crisis!
OUR BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE! Our growing food pantry at @uncchildren's hospital will be in two locations by the end of Spring 2018! That means that in less than a year the youth in our #youthcharge program have seen this need, worked hard to meet it through numerous food drives and planning, and now are expanding that need by serving more families in crisis through multiple locations inside the hospital! A team that prays together makes a difference together! We are honored to pray for Ronald McDonald House of Durham & Wake Families who want spiritual support while their children are receiving treatment! Some of the prayers we receive absolutely break out hearts because we know these families are in deep crisis. We pray in faith knowing our Father will give them strength and during this difficult time!
